A Unique Solution
In 2013, Beate lived in the U.K. and had a dog named Zenna. Zenna had several stomach problems and there was no food on the market that seemed to fix them.
As Beate is a true dog lover, she started doing some research to try to understand what was wrong with the existing dog food brands.

TO FIND A FOOD THAT DELIVERED ON ITS PROMISES...
Beate wanted to feed Zenna a food that actually delivered the nutrients the ingredients promised , but she realized that all the foods available in the UK at the time were made using the extrusion process , through which the ingredients lose much of their nutritional value due to the high temperatures.

TO FIND A NATURAL BUT CONVENIENT DIET
Beate has always believed in the power of nature and was looking for a 100% natural food that was as similar as possible to a raw, homemade diet , without having to cook for Zenna every day.
She found NOTHING...
So, GENTLE was born..
The beginning of an amazing journey.
